About IMI

With all that Open PHACTS has achieved in the past few years, it can be hard to keep track of everything! Paul Groth has put together a post summarising the story of Open PHACTS to date, with links to publications demonstrating the various successes of the project:

Users of Pipeline Pilot and KNIME workflow tools are invited to participate in a workshop this 19-20 May, at VU University in Amsterdam. This will be a small, informal workshop to introduce users to how the Open PHACTS API can help answer scientific questions.

We are pleased to announce the release of the Open PHACTS Component Collection version 1.4. The collection has been completely rewritten and now offers full coverage of the Open PHACTS API, with one component per API call, featuring all of the API call’s parameters.

The Open PHACTS Foundation now offers young scientists the opportunity to apply for a travel grant to present scientific use cases and innovative technological solutions connected to the Open PHACTS project.

We are delighted to announce the release of a new version of the Open PHACTS Explorer, including a completely new user interface, new data sources, mobile compatibility and allowing you to favourite entities. Please try it out under explorer2.openphacts.org. To get started watch our tutorial video. The release notes can be found on our support portal.

We look forward to and value your feedback and comments!

The Open PHACTS Discovery Platform has been developed to reduce barriers to drug discovery in industry, academia and for small businesses. You can now access the integrated pharmacological data via the Open PHACTS API, Open PHACTS Explorer or apps

“Open PHACTS is enabling you to do what you do best!”

The Open PHACTS project has received support from the Innovative Medicines Initiative Joint Undertaking under grant agreement n° 115191, resources of which are composed of financial contribution from the European Unions's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7/2007-2013) and EFPIA companies' in kind contribution.
