Open PHACTS was well represented at the SWAT4LS International Conference 2015 in Cambridge from 7-10 December 2015: Núria Queralt (Universitat Pompeu Fabra) presented DisGeNET: A discovery platform for translational bioinformatics, Alasdair Gray (Heriot-Watt University) gave a talk entitled Validata: An online tool for testing RDF data conformance and Marco Roos (Leiden University Medical Centre) presented Finding novel associations across domains using linked data.

Núria Queralt (Universitat Pompeu Fabra) presented RDFization of Disgenet at the BioSB Research School in Utrecht, NL, on 4 December 2015. 

Derek Marren (Eli Lilly, Open PHACTS Foundation) presented Collaboration and true sharing at the Big Data Analytics in Pharma in Brussels from September 30 to October 1, 2015.

Open PHACTS was well represented at the 4th KNIME Cheminformatics Workshop at EBI in Cambridge, UK on 5 October 2015: Daniela Digles (University of Vienna) presented Drug Discovery FAQs: workflows for answering multidomain drug discovery questions. George Papadatos (European Bioinformatics Institute) held the talk ChEMBL resources and KNIME.

Tom Plasterer (AstraZeneca) presented Too Much Data or Too Little Cooperation? at the Big DiP USA 2015 in Cambridge, MA, US from September 22-24, 2015  

Alasdair Gray (Heriot-Watt University) talked about Open PHACTS and the approaches the project has adopted for integrating Big Data sets at the Ambient Assisted Living Forum in Ghent (Belgium) on September 22-25: Data Integration in a Big Data Context 

DisGeNET - A discovery platform for the dynamical exploration of human diseases and their genes was presented from Núria Queralt (PSMAR) at the BioHackathon 2015 in Nagasaki (Japan) from September 13-14, 2015.

Daniela Digles (University of Vienna) presented An Open PHACTS Knime workflow to collect compound data from public databases at the 24th Scientific Congress of the Austrian Pharmaceutical Society (OePhG) in Vienna from September 12-14, 2015.

Open PHACTS was well represented at the 250th ACS National Meeting in Boston, MA, US from August 16-20, 2015: Richard Kidd (Royal Society of Chemistry) presented Worflow based data integration for drug discoveryGeorge Papadatos (European Bioinformatics Institute) gave the talk SureChEMBL: An open patent chemistry resource and Gerhard Ecker (University of Vienna) presented Topliss batchwise scheme reviewed in the era of Open Data.

Ian Dunlop (University of Manchester) presented Open PHACTS widgets - Visualising linked data at the BOSC 2015 (Bioinformatics Open Source Conference) in Dublin on July 11.

Ola Engkvist (AstraZeneca) held a presentation on The Open PHACTS Discovery Platform - Semantic Data Integration for Life Sciences at the Swedish Linked Data Network Meet-up in Gothenburg, Sweden on April 28, 2015.
